The
TeleManagement Forum (TM Forum) is a non-profit global organization that
provides leadership, strategic guidance and practical solutions to improve
the management and operation of information and communications services. The
TM Forum boasts 340 members worldwide, from incumbent and new-entrant
service providers, equipment suppliers, software solution suppliers and
Systems Integrators (SIs).
The
TM Forum's New Generation Operations Systems and Software (NGOSS) program is
a comprehensive, integrated framework for developing,
procuring and deploying operational and business support systems and
software. The NGOSS program forms part of the TM Forum's overall Technical
program, which consists of member-driven collaborative activities that help
identify, create, develop, and implement real world solutions that automate
and streamline telecom operations.

Distributed Management Task Force, Inc. (DMTF) is the industry organization
leading the development, adoption and interoperability of management
standards and initiatives for desktop, enterprise and Internet environments.
DMTF is chartered to adopt, create and maintain the specifications and
technologies that provide management tools with the ability to discover,
deploy, and control management data in a standard way. Working with key
technology vendors and affiliated standards groups, DMTF is enabling a more
integrated, cost-effective and less crisis-driven approach to management. |
